Opti-Jam 2024

CYC will be hosting Opti Jam on August 21 and 22!
This is a beginner-friendly regatta open to all Opti Sailors. We will have a green fleet for sailors who have done one regatta or less, an intermediate fleet for sailors who have raced but are less competitive, and an advanced fleet for sailors who are competitive. There will be lots of prizes and swag, so come on out!

We will also be looking for volunteers to help us with this regatta! This includes volunteer boats for safety, marks and RC. We will also be looking for on-land volunteers for CYC and Freda’s to help check boats in and out during launching, as well as helping with registration and handing out t-shirts on Day 1. We really appreciate any help you are able to provide and could not run this event without you.

Chester Yacht Club’s Opti-Jam is among the most highly regarded Opti regattas in local junior sailing circles. Courses for Green, Intermediate and Advanced fleets are set up across safe and beautiful Mahone Bay over two days of (usually!) agreeable weather conditions.
