RCL Branch 44 will organize and conduct the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at the
Chester Cenotaph on 11 November 2025, and lead the Poppy Campaign leading up to the event.
EXECUTION
a. Concept of Operations: RCL Branch 44 will coordinate a commemorative ceremony
with participation from civilian, military, and cadet organizations. A public reception will
follow at the Chester Legion Hall.
b. Timings: See Annex A.
C. Ceremony: All participants to be at the Cenotaph and Bandstand NLT 1045 hrs,
Tuesday 11 November 2025. The Parade Commander and Sergeant-at-Arms will lead the
march from the forming area to the Cenotaph. (See Annex A)
d. Poppy Campaign: Begins Saturday, 1 November 2025. (See Annex D)
e. Grouping and Tasks:
RCL Branch 44: Lead agency for planning and execution. Provide first aid kit,
PA system, flags, chairs, publicity, media coordination, wreaths, and invitations.
Members not on parade may attend as spectators.
351 RCSCC LLEWELLYN: Provide POC, band, podium, wreath, wreath
carrier, and four vigils.
RCMP: Provide POC, two members in Red Serge, and site security.
Other Participants: Provide POC, participants, wreath, and wreath carrier.
