We are excited to be chairing the annual fundraiser for our amazing Junior Sailing program!  While the program continues to build friendships, confidence, and skill, the program has also produced world class sailors, and continues to do so. Over the years, CYC Jr sailors have excelled at their home club and abroad. The 2022 program had sailors representing Canada at international events in Brazil, Bahamas and Morocco and representing the USA in Belgium. Many Junior Sailing grads continue their pursuits at university level and even in the Olympics and SailGP.

All of these young sailors build life-long friendships and a love for the water, for our dear Chester, and the CYC. They return year after year to visit friends and their community, and to support the club themselves. Junior Sailing is the baseline for the continuing evolution and prosperity of CYC.

To keep our Junior Sailing program strong, we are asking our members to support the program and these young sailors. This takes time (volunteers) and money (for new equipment and maintenance). We have attached a list of the program needs identified by the team, for your interest.

Sponsorship opportunities are always available. If you wish to support the purchase of any of the listed items (needs/wants identified by Head Coach and Jr Sailing Director). We are also looking for volunteers to ensure the night is perfect. Please reach out if you are interested in volunteering to help us out.
