Courses for CYC Bluenose Long-Distance Races

COURSE 1 (Wind from the N / NW/ NE)

• Upwind start
• CYC Mark 1 to Port 
• Quaker N  ( CYC mark 18 )  to Starboard 
• Little Fish Is. light buoy, MC70 to Port
• Dauphinee Point light buoy MC66 to Port 
• Birch Island  to Port
• Lynch Bell ( CYC 3)  to Port 
• CYC Mark 1 to Port
• Meisners  ( CYC 19 ) to port 
• Finish at  CYC Mark 1,  as set by RC., (I.E between RC boat and Mark 1, or between Mark 1 and CYC wharf.)

COURSE 2 (Wind from the S / SW / SE) 

• Upwind start
• Quaker N ( CYC Mark 18 ) to Starboard
• Little Fish Is. light buoy, MC70 to Port
• Dauphinee Point light buoy MC66 to Port 
• Birch Island  to Port
• Lynch Bell ( CYC 3)  to Port 
• CYC Mark 1 to Port
• Meisners  ( CYC 19 ) to port 
• Finish at  CYC Mark 1,  as set by RC, ( I.E between RC boat and Mark 1, or between Mark 1 and CYC wharf. )

COURSE  3 (Wind from the East)

• Upwind start
• Mark Island spit Steake MX57 to Starboard
• Woody Island to PORT
• Quaker Island  to Starboard
• Peninsula Stake ( CYC 17 ) to Starboard
• Woody Island to Starboard
• Mark Island Shoal Bouy MX57 to PORT
• Finish at  CYC Mark 1,  as set by RC, I.E between RC boat and Mark 1, or between Mark 1 and CYC wharf. 

COURSE 4 (Wind From the West)

• Upwind start
• CYC Mark 1, to Port
• Mark Island Shoal Bouy MX57 to Starboard
• Woody Island to PORT
• Quaker Island  to Starboard
• Peninsula Stake ( CYC 17) to Starboard
• Woody Island to Starboard
• Mark Island Shoal Bouy MX57 to PORT
• Finish at  CYC Mark 1,  as set by RC,  (I.E between RC boat and Mark 1, or between Mark 1 and CYC wharf.)
