Hello, my name is Addie Haslett, and I’m so happy to be the 2026 head coach at Chester Yacht Club for the Junior Sailing Program.
I have been a sailor at CYC for the past 11 years, and last year I coached the intro to 420 group, which enabled me to facilitate and teach the kids about the sport I love.
I am so excited to work with these amazing coaches this year, and alongside Anne-Marie. I am always more than happy to help or answer any questions parents or kids might have so feel free to reach out.
See you all this summer!
Hi, I’m Jacob Barkhouse, and I’m pleased to introduce myself as your 2026 Wet Feet Coach for the CYC Junior Sailing Program.
I grew up at this club and have been sailing for 12 years. Last summer I participated in an international sailing event in Kingston, Ontario, where my partner and I placed 14th out of 80 sailors.
I’m passionate about sailing and sharing that passion with young sailors. I’m approachable, hardworking, and will always have your child’s best interests at heart on the water.
Hi! My name is Sebby and I’m coaching Wet Feet this summer.
I’ve been sailing for 7 years and this is my first year coaching.
A fun fact about me is I love to golf and ski when I’m not sailing.
Hi, my name is Kaden Weyman.
I have sailed for 10 years at Chester Yacht Club, and I’m also a AAA hockey player and a provincial Rugby player.
I’ve spent my last 9 months in Ontario representing Nova Scotia in the National Prep Hockey League, where I play for the Oxford Sabres.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer!
Hello! My name is Nico Haywood-Guibord.
I am 19 years old, and I have been a part of the CYC community for 13 years.
I am in charge of the Advanced Opti and I am very excited for the summer sailing season to begin!
Hi CYC! Most of you might already know me, but for those who don’t — my name is Maxine!
I grew up sailing and racing at CYC and I’m currently finishing my final year at Queen’s University, where I sailed competitively for two years.
This will be my fourth year coaching, and I’ll be teaching LTS C420 this summer.
I’m looking forward to being back on the water in Chester for one more victory lap!
Hi, my name is Angus and I’ll be coaching Advanced 420s this year.
I’ve been sailing for seven years and this will be my second summer coaching. In addition to sailing, I also enjoy basketball and running.
Looking forward to another great summer on the water!
We welcome our new Director of Sail Training at Chester Yacht Club, Anne-Marie Di Lullo, who brings a deep passion for sailing and extensive experience in youth and adult sail training to the Chester Yacht Club.
Growing up on sailboats, Anne-Marie learned early on about seamanship, teamwork and a love of the water. Her experience also extends internationally, having worked with sail training initiatives in Bermuda and Australia, where she contributed to the development of high-quality instructional programs and experienced year-round program management for sailors of all ages.
As Director of Sail Training, Anne-Marie is committed to creating an engaging, safe, and inspiring environment that elevates the club’s programming and strengthens its sailing community.
We look forward to a dynamic season ahead with her on the team.
