- Paid their 2026 membership dues in full.
- No outstanding balance for their Capital Call or Initiation Fee.

2026 Nominating Committee Report
Dear Members of Chester Yacht Club,
The Nominating Committee is pleased to present its slate of nominees for the Executive Officers of Chester Yacht Club.

Pursuant to Article VII – Election of Officers of the CYC Bylaws:
- Terms are for two years.
- No Officer may serve more than two consecutive terms without a period of four years passing.

Meet the New Nominees
Evan Petley-Jones | Nominee for Commodore
Evan Petley-Jones is a world-class sailor with three children lined up for the CYC Learn to Sail program. His parents were keen sailors and long-term supporters of our club. Having served as Rear Commodore of the RNSYS, he brings a depth of experience, a well-developed business sense and tactful energy to lead the Club.
Drew Ernst | Nominee for Rear Commodore – Race & Learn to Sail
Drew Ernst grew up at CYC and learned the ropes under his stepfather, Danny Blain. He too has a young family poised to enter the Learn to Sail program. Drew previously served on the Club’s Long Term Planning Committee and has continued volunteering through the racing program and wherever needed around the Club.
Nominations from Members
As outlined in the October 4 notice to members, advance nominations were invited until October 15. One nomination was received; however, the nominee declined.

The Nominating Committee would like to thank Jennifer Chandler and Dave Tzagarakis for their time and service as Commodore and Rear Commodore.
