The Chester Yacht Club and its Junior Program depend on the efforts of volunteers and supporters.
We depend on volunteer labour and financial donations to keep the club and
its programs in top shape. Below are a number of ways in which you can help:
Donations
We are always looking for your help to improve our equipment and program.
Boats need to be replaced over time and need to be maintained over their life.
Donations of any amount are welcome. We can help you select an appropriate purpose for your donation in line with our current needs.
Tax receiptable donations in excess of $1000 can be made through the Municipality of the District of Chester. Please contact Paul Avery for more information.
Donations can be put through the Tax Receipting Program at Sport Nova Scotia. This provides
you with an official receipt for income tax purposes. This program allows organizations to raise funds for their
program and have tax receipts issued.

PRO Kids
Chester Yacht Club participates in the P.R.O. Kids Program. This is administered by the Chester Municipal Recreation Department.
P.R.O. Kids is a service dedicated to ensuring recreation opportunities exist for children and youth who would not ordinarily be able to afford the cost of participation.
Chester Yacht Club supports the program by accepting students funded through the P.R.O. Kids program and offering a special registration fee for students funded by the program.
Individuals or companies can donate directly to the P.R.O. Kids program to help increase the number of students that can be sponsored for recreational activities. Income tax receipts are issued for these donations.
Follow the link below for further information on the program.
