Commodore message – Sail Past Salute for Hayseed

This Friday evening, July 27^th  is the Centennial Celebration at CYC for Hayseed.  All members wanting to participate in the Sail Past / Motor Past to Salute Hayseed please meet me at the club between 1720 and 1730 on Friday. We will all gather at Chester Rock for the Sail Past at 1800.  Ceilidh will lead the way with her cannon blazing and Past Commodores on board.  Members with boats that do not have a motor, we will tow. CYC will be providing tender service to our mooring field under 2100.  After Sail Past, all skippers and crew are very welcome ashore for complimentary cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres from 1800 to 1900 thanks to Hayseed!  Barbecue hamburgers and hot dogs on the deck starting at 1930 sponsored by the Chester Classics Fleet. Please come!  It will be a very fun night.  Hayseed IV and Chester Classic Yachts will be at the dock for viewing from the wharf during cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres. Chester Brass Band will be playing at the band stand.  A Chester classic FIREWORKS show at dusk produced by www.chester.ns.ca ’s own Kerry Keddy and friends.
